Happy Holidays from our family to yours!

Despite the sunsetting of my holiday letters, I’ve promised some quick updates.

Jeffrey proposed to Chloe this summer in Jackson Hole on one of his favorite trails.  He’s still with Google Cloud in Austin, TX as a senior software engineer and still loves to take Willa disc golfing with him.

Eva left Bain Consulting after three years and started business school this fall at Wharton in Philadelphia. She loves the program and how close it is to visit friends and family in NYC and Boston.

Marena graduated from Harvard in June and is living and working in NYC at JP Morgan in Asset Management. She loves the city, but said her apartment is smaller than our kitchen.

Vivian graduated from Vanderbilt in May and is an Associate for Boston Consulting Group in Austin, TX. I think her kitchen is also bigger than Marena’s apartment. 😉

John recently got pulled in as CEO of one of the companies he’s been on the board of for a number of years. I knew retirement wouldn’t last long!

I have been enjoying including John in all my “collective effervescence” activities. We’ve traveled, enjoyed lots of sporting events and visited the kids.

There’s a quote from Charlie Mackesy’s latest book that summarizes our year nicely. “Which is best…” asked the boy “finding cake or eating it?” “Looking for it with you”, said the mole.
