Holiday Cards

In 1993, when John and I got married and moved to California, I started writing holiday letters to update our family and friends on our life together. At some point during those 30+ years, my yearly stories and updates became more than updates, but a way for me to reflect and feel gratitude for the family that John and I built. Now that my four kids are young adults, I realize that part of my legacy is sharing with them some of their stories from my perspective. Whether they remember them from their own perspective or mine, the value lies in its appreciation. "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." Dr. Seuss
